Rebuilt Utility Immersion Tank

6' x 14' Flatbed Scanning System
Scans flat panels up to 6 ft x 14 ft using a stationary bridge that passes the part back and forth — a lower-cost approach than a moving-bridge design, at the cost of a larger floor footprint. Currently scanning parts and can ship following successful FAT (Factory Acceptance Test).

Equipped with a 36 in. turntable rated for 2,000 lb capacity. Available with basic software, or SDI's newer disk-inspection software featuring autocalibration and circumferential shear scanning on sloped and curved surfaces.

All systems are supplied with the latest SDI-WinScan multi-tasking acquisition and analysis package, built for high-throughput production applications. Key features include high-speed pan and zoom through entire data files, high-quality 1:1 plotting, multi-channel operation, and true multi-tasking — scanning, plotting, and viewing stored files simultaneously without a reduction in speed.
Mini-scan lets an operator tag an area of interest on the data file; the system automatically drives back and re-scans that area with selected defect-evaluation parameters, including full waveform capture.
